Tincture 5mls, 2 times daily.
AC Decoction 15g of dried root as decoction, taken 2 to 3 times daily.

Contraindications

1) Do not use this herb with either diarrhoea or anorexia, due to the irritant effect of its constituents on the gastrointestinal tract.
2) Do not use this herb during pregnancy.
3) Do not use this herb where there are deficient damp conditions of the spleen or deficient energy.
