Dose:
Tincture, infusion
F

Tincture 5mls, 2 or 3 times daily.
GEM Fluid extract 1:1 (g/ml) 2mls, 3 times daily.
Infusion 2g in 150mls water, 3 times daily.
DH Tincture 2 to 4mls, 3 times daily.
1 to 2 teaspoons of the dried herb to 1 cup of water 3 times daily.

Contraindications

1) Do not use the root of this herb during pregnancy due to its emmenagogue and arbortifacient effects.
2) Do not use this herb with kidney inflammation, due to the essential oil, which may cause epithelial irritation.
3) There have been occasional reports of this herb resulting in skin or mucous membrane reactions.
