Medical Use:
Mild sedative
Diaphoretic
Antiflatulent

Dose:
Tincture, infusion

S.F.
Feline dose - lots and lots!
Tincture 1 teaspoon 2 times daily.
Infusion 1 cup daily.
D.H. Tincture 2 to 4mls 3 times daily.
Infusion 2 teaspoons of the dried herb to cup water 3 times daily.

Contraindications

1) Do not use during pregnancy due to this herb's emmenagogue and arbortifacient effects. E
2) The known component of this herb, nepetal acid, may increase sleeping time when combined with hexobarbital. S
