Digestive tonic
Immune supporter/tonic
Immune regulator
Dose:
Tincture, tea or decoction.

S.F. Tincture 0.5 teaspoon/ 2.5mls to 1 teaspoon/5mls 3 times daily.
Tea/decoction 9 to 15g per day of dried herb.
A.C. - Tincture 5mls, 1-2 times daily.
Decoction 20g root with 5g cinnamon, 1 cup, 2 times daily - for cold and numbness.

Contraindications

1) This herb may cause bloating and/or loose stools.


2) Do not use this herb during acute phases where a fever exists, otherwise the pathogen can be pacified with undesirable effects.
