Medicinal Use:
Itching, irritations
Antirheumatic
Expectorant
Laxative
Diuretic
Antitumour
Thyroid deficiency
Dose:
Tincture, infusion.

Tincture - 5mls (1tsp) 2 times daily.
Infusion - 2 to 3 cups daily.
D. H. Infusion 2 teaspoons dried herb to cup water 3 times daily.
Make strong infusion and add to bath water for itching.

Contraindications

1) Old reports suggest that this herb may cause temporary paralysis when used in excessive doses. This may be due to nitrate toxicity due to environmental factors - harvesting from polluted fields. Otherwise this herb is regarded as harmless.
