comfreyComfrey (Symphyton officinale)
Comfrey Root was an important choice for this Body Wash as it ensures a number of vital prerequisites. Washing always removes dead skin cells that are sloughed off with the other ‘soapy’ ingredients. This can lead to drying and shrinking of new skin cells. The comfrey root bio-chemistry ensures this does not happen by offering accelerated skin cell proliferation qualities and by quickly repairing any moisture through its protective gel substances that penetrate and buffer.

Comfrey is often the plant of choice of topical skin disorders by herbalists, so to use it as a skin wash ensures the gentle treatment of any sensitivities. It stands as an ample balancer to the gentle soap ingredients.
