The Name Of The Business And How It Grew

Herbs Hands Healing Ltd. has always been a business keen to share herbs with the public in a safe, professional manner. Initially a cottage business, it has over the years grown in size, both in terms of space and the number of staff making it all possible. Apart from office and mailing staff it has three qualified herbal practitioners, working in two separate dispensaries, which oversee the Over The Counter mail order side of the herb dispensary and also tend to the needs of the in-house clinic. A good and happy team, we all enjoy our work immensely.

Originally founded in 1978, Herbs Hands Healing was initially homed in a 3 acre walled herb garden with cropped areas of organic herbs, it eventually shrunk in its growing aspects and increased its dispensary capabilities at its new location in 1983. Self grown or bought the ethos at Herbs Hands Healing Ltd. has always been good quality organic or wild crafted herbs and tinctures with fully trained staff in the dispensaries to dispense our in-house formulas, compounds and combinations. Some of the formulas originate from Dr. John Christopher (1909 to 1982) the famous American Herbalist, which makes their usage date back some 70 years. Other formula have plants in them that date back 150 years to Jill Davies's Norfolk based Herbal Apothecary Great Great Grandfather and of course other herbalists of that era. Others that helped shape these very successful formulae are the renowned herbalists Christopher Hobbs and Dr. Richard Schulze.

Overall, they are the life's work of senior herbal practitioner and co director of Herbs Hands Healing Ltd. Jill Davies who them sold for 25 years.
