Introduction:
Inflammation of a sinus or sinus's. The cause can be bacterial, viral or allergens. Mucus can collect in the nasal passages around the eyes and nose and this often put pressure on the face which can be extremely painful and lead to chronic inflammation. Other causes can be poor drainage from the area and enlarged or deviated nasal structures. Nutritional Advice: Adopt a mucus-free diet especially avoiding all dairy and wheat. This will remove the breeding ground for micro-organisms.
Investigate any other and individual food allergies you may have and avoid these as well.

Natural Healing:
Take steam inhalations of two drops of lavender and eucalyptus each, afterwards take a cold shower and eat twelve raw black peppercorns; you will feel cleansed and soothed.
Avoid decongestants.
Ear drops may be necessary, it may be worth using these even if you do not have earache to see if they additionally help.
