Introduction:
This condition is where tissue normally residing in the womb strays into other, (inappropriate,) parts of the body. These 'implants' behave as if still in a menstrual cycle and therefore cyclic bleeding still occurs. Pain is a huge factor and may be caused by local fibrosis, adhesions and more. Each woman will have their own particular and pertinent symptoms and pain levels depending on the 'obstruction' caused by the stray cells in that area. 'Chocolate cysts' for instance are quite common. Endometriosis can also be a factor in infertility. Often painful where obstructing, especially around ovulation and menstruation in the pelvic area, but can be found anywhere in the body - even the lungs where careful diagnosis needs to be carried out. |
Nutritional Advice:
Avoid dairy, wheat and eggs, large amounts of heavy meat. (Avoid all saturated fats.)
Caffeine contains theobromine and is found in coffee, tea and chocolate; as they also produce extra oestrogen it is important to cut this out of your diet too as oestrogen will exacerbate.

Maintain a good diet of whole grains, vegetables and plenty of citrus fruit. Include Superfood which is rich in vitamin B that will vitally convert excess oestrogen into weaker forms in the liver. It will also help produce beneficial prostaglandin's.
Avoid any food that encourages the production of oestrogen and focus on foods that eliminate oestrogen and stimulate the liver.
Ensure that vitamin E, vitamin C and magnesium and calcium is adequate.
As fat stores oestrogen, if you are overweight look at weight loss as being important - Take omega 3, 6 and 9 capsules or oil and Spirulina to facilitate weight loss and help with pains and cramps. Increase fibre in your diet as this also absorbs oestrogen and helps remove it through the bowel.

Natural Healing:
Hot and cold showers and sitz baths will help to maintain circulation in the womb area, this is vital for the healing process.
For pain: Use a hot castor oil pack over the area. Construct a muslin or flannel pack and soak it in warmed castor oil. After placing on the body and taping in place; cover with plastic.

Herb Quality:
A large proportion of our herbs are grown in English soils, harvested using bio-chemistry analysis and many but not always, processed fresh, which heightens their remedial properties. The majority are grown organically and or sustainably wild-crafted. All manufacturing is carried out using licensed good manufacturing practice.
