Introduction:
This problem is often linked to other syndromes, as well as being one in its own right. Always seek help from your health practitioner if experiencing feelings of being unable to cope, not finding any pleasure in anything and a general lack of interest in life which goes beyond the normal ups and downs of everyday life. There are many depressive disorders but these must be diagnosed by a professional. |

Nutritional Advice:
Eat healthily and increase zinc levels in your food e.g. pumpkin seeds. Drink plenty of water to assist mental clarity and a healthy release of toxins and to support the bowel. Consume omega 3, 6 & 9 rich foods e.g. flaxseed and olive oil; otherwise purchase evening primrose oil capsules and other similar sources (Biocare for supplements Tel: 0121 433 3727). B vitamin rich foods will be vital to support the nervous system e.g. engevita.

Natural Healing:
The advice below is viable for mild depression:
Ensure that you exercise often because daily exercise will create a regular production of 'happy hormones'. Exercise also grounds and moves thought into action. Exercise can be hard to achieve when depressed so others may need to support or groups joined.
Barefoot walking is a useful grounding technique taking mental energy away from the end. Also look into reflexology treatment and massage your own feet. Hypnotherapy with psychotherapy provides substantial help.
Hot and cold showers can be hard to achieve when depressed, especially in a UK climate but they will pay dividends to encourage physical and mental robust responsiveness. |

Herb Quality:
A large proportion of our herbs are grown in English soils, harvested using bio-chemistry analysis and many but not always, processed fresh, which heightens their remedial properties. The majority are grown organically and or sustainably wild-crafted. All manufacturing is carried out using licensed good manufacturing practice.
