Introduction:
This is an inflammation, usually caused by infection or irritants such as pollution and smoking, of the mucus membranes of the bronchial airways. Can be acute with viral or bacterial infection accompanied by fever. Or, it can be chronic, as with a smoker's cough and attendant poor ability to expectorate excessive mucus.

Nutritional Advice: Remove wheat and dairy products from you diet to reduce excessive production of mucous.
